Crazed Child
The only thing I can think of is Chris' cake did this to her...either that or she really is as silly as she seems, hehehe.
Celebrating Chris
Chris' Birthday Cake...see him in the window? Hahaha

Chris getting ready to blow out the candles...

Quite possibly the cutest picture of Spencer I have ever taken...notice he is clean here.

Chris and Ben being silly in the pool

This was at Babe's where we ate dinner with my side of the family on Tuesday...not his actual birthday.

And now for a video of the girls singing to their Uncle Chris:

Leaving today for a long weekend
So we are leaving today for a long weekend visiting my in-laws. I am super excited to have a weekend to relax and to celebrate our countries freedom as well as my wonderful husband's birthday!! His birthday is the 5th and we are grilling out to celebrate him and his awesomeness :)
We have to take Chris' truck...not our first choice for travel, but we are exchanging some mattresses with Ron and Teresa. And we have to take Spencer...booo! I wish I had someone to watch him but I don't feel like it is fair to ask anyone to do that over the holiday weekend. I went outside earlier because he was barking up a storm in a mean bark and much to my dismay he is digging like a wild crazy dog in the bed of a new rose bush.

This picture doesn't really do his dirtiness justice. Now I am going to have to bathe him before our trip...you know my favorite thing to do when I am tryin to clean house, do laundry, and pack before our trip. You see, because we are hauling these other large items this onery fool has to be inside the truck with us in all of his blessed stinkiness. And incase you forgot, I have a heightened sense of smell right now, so when I say stinkiness I mean the kind that might make me barf during a 2 hour long car ride. Pray this all works out.
Stinky little ornery Spencer...

Hannah Montana
So last night we ate Taco Bueno and then did toes before going to see the Hannah Montana movie at the dollar theater with 4 crazy kiddos. Here is a picture of the kiddos and then of their toes...

It was pretty comical because we were trying to do this all before we left to go see the movie at 7:25...I didn't get home til after 6:00 so you can see the time crunch of trying to get 4 kids fed and then toes done. But we were successful. And then we rush to the theater only to realize Connie left her wallet at my house...you know the wallet with the tickets in it!! Luckily we explained to the manager that we had lost a wallet with our tickets in it and they let us in with out any tickets! She must have seen the desperation in our faces with the four kids! So see, there really are nice people in the world :)
Oh and I highly recommend the Hannah Montana movie. It was cute and funny and filled with cute songs for the kids to sing to. It had absolutely nothing bad in it, which is surprising considering the cartoon movies that are released now are filled with questionable language and actions. I enjoyed it and laughed out loud several times. I think I might buy it...you know, I AM having a little girl so it will come in handy down the road...

23 Weeks
Ok, so just be prepared...this photo was taken at 1:15 this morning. That's right 1:15 AM. Why on earth do you ask would I be up at this hour? On a work night? Oh, because I went to play Mystery Date with Mattie, Ryder Roo (hehehe, I like calling him this), Julesie and Mia. When in all actuality I didn't really play myself. But that was why Chris and I went over there in the first place. Mattie needed to play and so playing is what happened.
After all the kiddos went to bed Levi, Chris, Connie and I continued our conversations well past midnight. Thus resulting in not getting home til around one and Chris had to unload mattresses out of the back of his truck and I forced him to take my picture before I got into the shower to go to bed. And yes, I am tired today...5:30 came WAY too early. But I had a fun day...I will post on that later. I need to go get into the shower now because it is after 11 already!

Tree stumps...for legs??
Yes, in the past few days, my legs have in fact looked like tree stumps.
I woke up on Sunday morning with severe pain in my calves...so bad that I could hardly walk all day. The pain continued into Monday and I looked like a crippled person trying to hobble around at work. By Monday night my legs were so swollen you couldn't even tell that I have ankles! Yesterday I received one of my pregnancy emails that stated "if you are feeling pain in your calves and extreme swelling, contact your doctor, this may be a sign of a blood clot" WHAT?! You can imagine my distress. Never in my life have I had the dreaded cankles and I could not fathom where my bones had disappeared to underneath the sea of swollen skin. Finally I call the doctor, it takes a couple of hours for the nurse to call me back and tell me that she wants me to come in today and in the meantime I need to keep my feet elevated above my heart. Which I will say this is hard to do...I don't consider myself an extremely active person, but apparently I am...because this was killing me to sit and keep my feet up! And this is hard to do at work as well. Propping your feet up on a wooden desk isn't exactly comfortable and I look like such a slacker doing so!!
Anyways, this morning, after heeding the doctor's advice all evening and during the night. I could see my ankles again!! I knew I had bones in there somewhere! So I proceed to the doctor and she tells me that with this heat it is not abnormal for me to experience some swelling. All women are different and some swell while others do not. Lucky me. She told me to stay off of my feet as much as possible, wear shoes with good arch supports and consume more potassium (like bananas). Great, so it looks like I may be dealing with this ailment for the remainder of my pregnancy. Oh the joy.
Good thing is my blood pressure is fine and the baby's heart beat sounds good, so we are healthy...just a little chubby looking at times :) so please forgive me if you see me on a day where I can hardly walk and my legs look like tree stumps...can't say I didn't warn you!
