Happenings

Well so yesterday was a stressful day. I got rear-ended on the way to work. Not really my idea of a good start to the morning, but it is not like I chose for it to happen. It was stop and go traffic bright and early at approximately 6:50 in the morning. The poor guy didn't stop in time and couldn't speak a lick of English to communicate with me. Luckily he did have insurance and the adjuster is supposed to come assess the damage of my car tomorrow. Looking from afar you would never know that I had been involved in an accident. My little dodge has held up well to not one but two accidents now that I have owned it...neither my fault. But regardless here are a couple of pics to show the damage.

This one if you look closely you can see the impression from the bolts that hold his license plate on.

But I am not really telling the whole story...I proceeded to work and had an emotional break down. Worrying about my car, about the possibility that our baby could be harmed, worrying if his insurance was legitimate, etc. Anyways, it took approximately an hour and ten minutes after the supposed insurance company was supposed to open for me to get to talk to an actual individual who then filed me a claim. And it was at that time and during that conversation that I received a call from my doctor wanting me on bed rest. Ugh! Miss work? Is she crazy? But in all reality I was accomplishing very little work anyways. So I went home and rested, waiting for her to call back to see if they wanted me to come in and they called after I got home and said that I was just to be on bed rest for the day, to calm my nerves and de-stress. And that they would see me at my regular appointment on Monday. So there it is. I was lazy all day yesterday and had a massive headache to which Tylenol helped not one bit. I thought for sure since I am allowed to take nothing else that Tylenol would magically work for me in some way shape or form, but alas, no it still does not work for me. I will try to remember that later and just not bother to take it because it is just a waste. I miss ALEVE!!

I have more to post about today, but that will have to wait for another time, I am tired...

Scarborough Faire

Well I had never been to the Scarborough Faire, and Jamye always invites me to go with her, so this time I decided to go and see what all the fuss was about. I will say there are a bunch of interesting people there, but overall it was a fun and entertaining experience. I think it would be really cool to take kiddos there, because they would enjoy the atmosphere and there is tons for them to do and play with! Anywho, here are some pictures from our fun, but rainy at times morning at the faire!

What does your husband do when you aren't home?

This is what mine does...

He makes ridiculous work out videos of himself just so he can post them on myspace and make people laugh. Yep, make people laugh...that is his goal in life. He is a funny one. If you have myspace, he actually made 4 videos and all of them are on there if you are into watching a bit of ridiculous humor.

Am I proud? Oh sure, who wouldn't be proud of a ridiculously dressed individual who works out to Family Force 5 just to draw a laugh from a few folks. He will make a good dad, I am sure of it. And will probably embarrass our child on more than one occasion...

Peppermint Tums

So what could be more normal than walking through Target enjoying some peppermint tums with your best friend who also deals with heartburn and indigestion and shopping for maternity clothes? I mean, really who doesn't share their peppermint tums? I just feel sorry for Jamye because unfortunately these little tums are a "norm" for her to enjoy several times a week. But me, just since I have been shopping for maternity clothes have they been part of my experience...oh wait, shopping for maternity clothes, WHY on earth would I be doing that??

Well that would be because I am 11 weeks pregnant silly!

Anyways, I am SO ready for this first trimester of sickness and extreme exhaustion to be over! I never knew that a peanut-sized life could completely zap you of all of your energy, but it sure can.

Here is my first preggo photo, 11 weeks, I can tell a difference, but no one else can, its ok, I am sure everyone else will see it soon enough!
























And as a footnote, I feel very lonely out here in the blogging world...I have exactly, yes lets count, ONE, that would be numero uno follower. I look at my friends on here and they have like 8 or 9 or sometimes even 10! What the hey people?! Doesn't anyone want to be my follower? Anyways, I know now that Jamye loves me, that is cool, because you know, I love her too.
